He was born in Arezzo on 8 January 1957.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florence, Valerio Battista is a manager with extensive skills and experience built up in the industrial sector over 30 years, first with the Pirelli Group and then with the Prysmian Group, where he took the helm in 2005. His earlier roles within the Pirelli Group gave him increasing responsibilities, including the restructuring and reorganisation of Pirelli Cables in the period 2002-2004. As a result, the division became one of the sector's most profitable and competitive businesses.

He then played a key role in the 2005 creation of the Prysmian Group, which obtained a stock exchange listing in 2007. The Group is a world leader in the supply of power and telecom cables.

He was the Chairman of Europacable from June 2014 to March 2019 and has been the Lead Independent Director at Brembo S.p.A. since April 2017. Valerio Battista became an Executive Director of the Company in December 2005. With reference to his current mandate, he was elected on 12 April 2018 from the list presented by the Board of Directors, which obtained the majority of the votes cast at the Shareholders’ Meeting.

Alessandro Nespoli is leading the Group Internal Audit & Compliance Department of Prysmian S.p.A. since October 2016.

Before joining Prysmian, Alessandro, from January 2006 to September 2013, covered various roles within the Corporate Legal Department of Luxottica Group S.p.A., until he was appointed Head of Legal Affairs; thereafter, from October 2013 to October 2016, as Chief Audit Executive of Luxottica Group S.p.A., he managed and coordinated globally the audit function and activities, leading an international group of more than 20 professionals organized in four regional audit teams based respectively in Milan (Italy), Cincinnati (Ohio, USA), Shanghai (PRC) and Sydney (Australia).

Srinivas ‘Srini’ Siripurapu received his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University USA. His graduate research focused on polymer blends and alloys, structure property relationships of polymers, polymer rheology, nanomaterials and supercritical fluids.

Srini joined General Electric Company after graduating from NC State and held multiple roles of increasing responsibility in product development and technology innovation. He served as their Global Product Technology Manager for the Specialty Polycarbonates Business. While at GE, he completed his Design for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. He moved to General Cable Corporation and went on to serve as Vice President of Global Technology with responsibility for the Research & Development and Engineering functions of the company.

Srini currently serves as Chief R&D Officer of Prysmian Group the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. In his current role he is responsible for the company’s world wide R&D strategy, R&D talent development and Innovation pipeline.

Srini has a proven track record of building high performance teams and successful customer driven innovations in Energy, Electrical Infrastructure, Communications, Automotive, Aerospace, Healthcare and Consumer Electronics market segments.

Srini is active in industry organizations in North America as well as Europe and he mentors young scientists and engineers through these professional organizations.

Srini is passionate about innovation and is an inventor on over 50 patent applications.

Fabrizio Rutschmann is the Prysmian Chief Human Resources Officer.

He graduated in Business Administration at Ca 'Foscari University in Venice, with a specialization at the SDA Bocconi in Milan.
Fabrizio began his career in the Electrolux Group in 1989, holding various positions in the Human Resources function in "Appliances" and "Components" divisions. From 1998 to 1999 he worked in Unicredit as HR Director of one of the seven Group banks.
In 1999 he joined the Tyre Division of the Pirelli Group as Human Resources Director of the Italian Division. In 2002 he moved to the Cables and Systems Division as Global Director of HR & Organization to be part of a team in charge of a full turnaround.
The following year, he joined the Telecom Italia Group in Rio de Janeiro as Human Resources Director of the Latin American Region. In 2006 he returned to Pirelli as Group Chief of HR & Organization. From January 2009 to February 2010 Fabrizio has also been General Manager of Pirelli in Spain.
He has been in his current role at Prysmian since June 2010, being part of the company growth through M&A.

Andrea Pirondini has been CEO North America since February 2021. From January 2014 to February 2021 he was Chief Operating Officer of the Prysmian Group. With a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University "Luigi Bocconi" in Milan, he began his professional career in the Pirelli Group in 1989 covering, in over 25 years of experience, various positions between the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Russia and Egypt in the Tires and sectors Cavi e Sistemi, where he participated in the restructuring of the industrial system of power cables. From 2004 to 2007 he was responsible for the Steelcord Business Unit, and for the country of Turkey in the Pirelli Pneumatici area. Philippe Vanhille has been EVP Telecom Division since May 2013.

After graduating in 1989 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lyon University (France), he commenced his professional career as a Research Engineer, working on the development of Renault's Formula 1 programme, before moving to the cables sector in 1991 with Alcatel Cable. Over a period of two decades he held various Operations and General Management positions in the cables industry, with Alcatel and Draka, and then in copper and optical fibre cables for the power and telecom sectors. At the time of the Prysmian-Draka merger he was responsible for Draka’s Optical Fibre BU and then held the same position within the Prysmian Group until his appointment as EVP Telecom Division.

Iuri is Prysmian Group Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). He joined Prysmian in May 2020 and was appointed CSO in December 2020.

Hakan Ozmen has been EVP Projects and Chairman and Managing Director of Prysmian Powerlink S.r.l. since June 2018. Marcello Del Brenna will be the CEO of Prysmian Group in United Kingdom. He served as CEO of Prysmian Group in South America for 4 years from January 2015 to June 2018.

Frederick Persson serves as CEO of the Central East Europe region within Prysmian. He started that role in February 2018 after serving 4 years as CEO of Prysmian Australia. Erkan Aydoğdu is a graduate from the Middle East Technical University (in Ankara, Turkey) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Aydoğdu started to work within the Prysmian Turkey family in 1997, in the Production Planning department.
